All About Acetaminophen

Here is a video that offers an example of the effects of taking too much acetaminophen. I found an article that said there are over 200 OTC and prescription drugs that contain acetaminophen. I never realized that not only is acetaminophen a drug ingredient in that many different types of meds but that a person could die from taking too much of it in just a week. I think that the health care field needs to take some responsibility and educate consumers about the true risks of some of the over-the-counter medications. Consumers please be aware of the side effects and the correct doses of these medications!! Just because they are available at almost any pharmacy does not mean they are completely safe as this video shows.
